Attack ads - Media Mix - political advertising

These three ads, produced by GOP consulting firm The Strategy Group for Media, use a variety of techniques to land campaign attacks. The spot for Teater uses a moving truck to dramatize a political point. The ad for Tiberi in Ohio, who won his election 53-44 percent, is about ethics and trust. Kline, who lost his challenge against U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore in Kansas by 3 points, employs the tax issue to show that the incumbent is out of touch.

It's moving day in Columbus. State government workers are moving out, transferred to cities across Ohio. Who came up with the bright idea of sending Columbus jobs out of Columbus? Master mover Mike Coleman. Coleman supported moving state government workers out of Columbus. Like this fine batch. They've got a one-way ticket to Mike Coleman's hometown, Toledo. Yes, Toledo! Another brilliant idea from Toledo's favorite son, Mike Coleman.Truth is, Watts took money from a lobbyist for his own personal use, denied he took it, and was indicted, convicted and sentenced for criminal conduct. Gene Watts violated Ohio's ethics laws, and violated our trust. Now he wants to be our congressman?
Moore says he's for tax cuts, but he voted three times to kill the only bill that would have eliminated the unfair marriage-penalty tax. The tax payer's union said Moore was an old-fashioned tax-andspend liberal. Moore says he's an independent voice, but he votes party line liberal 94 percent of the time and with Clinton and Gore 97 percent of the time. Dennis Moore...he's not who he says he is.
